DUNGEY'S GRIP DEBACLE

(2/6/2014)

Ryan Dungey’s crash at A3 somehow slid everything off of the left side of his handlebars-the grip, the clutch perch and kill switch all got cleaned and forced him out of the race.  If you look closely at the photo of the dangling clutch perch/line it appears that the perch is fine, the top mount still intact and not broken. What are the odds that a crash can first remove a grip (which was most certainly glued and safety wired) and the clutch perch without breaking it? Freaky.

Thanks to Spencer Rathkamp for his pics.
