Rockwell Watches Unveils 2013 Dew Tour Champion Watch

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (November 15, 2013) – Rockwell Time Inc., the official watch sponsor of the Dew Tour since 2009, will be showcasing the 2013 Dew Tour Champion watch at the final stop of the year in Breckenridge, Colorado, December 12-15.

Each Dew Tour athlete is hoping to take home the coveted Dew Cup, awarded to the champion of each discipline. Alongside the Dew Cup, the champions will also be taking home a custom Dew Tour Championship Rockwell Watch.

The Dew Tour Champion watch, presented by Rockwell Watches, is a two-toned black and gold watch, featuring a 44mm wide stainless steel case plated with 14k gold, a glossy black dial with diamond hour indexes, and is powered by Swiss-made movement. A black genuine leather strap with a crocodile pattern and gold plated buckle round off the watch.

The dial has the Rockwell and Dew Tour logo, followed by the word, “champion.” An engraved “MTN, CITY, or OCEAN,” on the side of the polished gold case distinguishes the timepiece for each of the three stops.

“What makes the championship watch unique from other awards is that it not only serves as a memorabilia item, it also serves as a functional and fashionable life-style piece that champions can take with them everywhere they go,” said Rockwell Watches designer, Max Henry.

The level of competition increases for the winter-sport athletes with the announcement of the Dew Tour iON Mountain Championship being an official  Olympic selection event that will help decide which snowboard and freeski competitors will represent the U.S. in the 2014 Winter Olympics. The last stop of the Dew Tour will bring the top athletes in the world to the Breckenridge Ski Resort such as Shaun White, Louie Vito, Torin Yater-Wallace, Nick Goepper, and Bobby Brown.

Rockwell Watches will have a booth in the festival village, with product display, interactive giveaways, and Rockwell Sponsored athlete signings.

Coverage of the Dew Tour begins Saturday, December 14 at Noon ET on NBC.  All of the action will be streamed live
