Hi Guys, I am wondering how this upgrade compares to riding the SXF350 as i would like to get more out of my 2007 YZ250F but am thinking the only was is to upgrade to a fuel injected bike. As you have ridden both bike which do you think is the best to go for? Cheers ShaneV34
dont use the crf 250 kit the frt skurt breaks off on every kit we have used after the cylinder has about 40 hrs on it it fails. about 12 hrs into the new piston replacement , i have talked to over 10 builders that have had the same thing happen to then and cylinderworks give you a mountain of paperwork to do before they will even think about looking at there parts that fail.
but the other kits for the kxf , yzf, rmz, sxf, hold up very well . the crf kit frt skurt break's were the releaf is cut in skurt for clearance for the oiler jet
UPDATE ok here is the deal my post was for the 2005-2009 crf 250 if you are going to be racing i would not use the stroker kit and the big bore together on this and only this unit it seams the angle of the rod on the stroker cranke is so great it put way to much pressure on the skirt and it can break. but if you use only the stroker crank or just the big bore you should be fine so use only one or the other . jsy clark and steve depping worked with me from C & L and we were able to these motor warranteed , AGAIN this was only with the 2005-2009 crf 250 we have a ton of the big bore stroker combo's on the other brands of all years with no prob's wat so ever , AGAIN this prob is only on the 2005-2009 crf 250 thanks again to Jay and Steve.
